Our Nation

Where the sun sets,
To where it does rise,
A nation rose,
So large in size,

With mighty Caliphs,
And scholars wise,
One nation,
Under one God in the skies.

Justice spread,
With human rights,
A beacon of justice,
Did ignite,
A world marvelled,
At our nations might,
Rose from the bottom,
To such amazing heights.

From the lions,
To the ants,
From the jungles,
To the desert sands,
From the Chinese border,
To the South of France,
We stood united,
Within the motherland.

The land was split,
Like an earthquake,
A once mighty nation,
Now many states,
Everything we owned,
They did take,
But the bond of the shuhada,
They can never break.
